You don’t come across many whiskies from Switzerland, but Langatun is one of the best-known. The family behind Langatun has a distilling heritage that stretches back to 1857, but Old Crow is its first peated whisky. The malt used to make it is specially smoked with peat, with the barley dried with smoke from burnt peat to fully absorb the aroma.
Bonfires, tobacco and peat with a hint of heather.
Smoky and salty, red wine and dark chocolate.
Long and lingering notes of sweet smoke, tobacco, dark chocolate and peanut butter.
