Langatun Old Bear Smoky Cask Proof (58.5%)
It's a wonderful cask strength batch of Langatun's Old Bear Smoky single malt! Just like the original expression, it's been triple distilled and aged in Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine casks, though this one has been bottled at a generous 58.5% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Some black pepper among forest fruit and oily malt, underpinned by wafts of smoke.
Palate
Aromatic peat, wood spice, juicy red grape and butterscotch.
Finish
Lengthy, with fruit and nut dark chocolate and a whisp of smoke.
