It's the 2014 vintage of Langatun's Winter Wedding, a glorious blend of its two classic expressions Old Deer Classic and Old Bear Smoky. The whiskies are aged in a combination of Chardonnay, sherry and Châteauneuf-du-Pape casks before being blended together, with the fruity, floral Old Deer balancing marvellously with the Old Bear Smoky.
Burnt custard, barley sugar and ripe orchard fruit, with summer berries and a whisper of smoke.
More earthy smoke, with peppery oak and sultana sweetness alongside fresh malt.
Woody smoke and sweet brown sugar lingers.
