Here we have a marriage of two of Langatun's classics, Old Deer Classic and Old Bear Smoky to create Winter Wedding, and this here is the 4 year old 2013 vintage. The Swiss distillery know what they're doing, as the gentler Old Deer is complemented by the powerful and peaty Old Bear, and vice versa. The whisky sees a fabulous combination of Chardonnay, sherry and Châteauneuf-du-Pape casks, creating a wonderful dram for all year round - not just winter!
Swirls of playful smoke surround runny honey, juicy berries and sweet malt.
Earthy smoke returns alongside sweet dried fruit, red wine, malted barley and oak.
Complex and lengthy, flavours intertwining to become sweet smoke.
