
A stunning Swiss single malt whisky from Langatun, dedicated to its founder Jakob Baumberger. In honour of such an important chap, the very best casks were selected to mature the whisky, imparting layers of richly intense and complex character to the robust malt at its core. It's fair to say that since Baumberger founded the distillery in 1857, his legacy of skill and dedication to excellence has lived on.
Buttered sourdough with nutty honey, oaken vanilla, and sweet sultanas.
The nuttiness builds with roasted almonds, earthen walnuts, and rich, roasted malt. Warm cinnamon buns, vanilla cream, and some gingery heat follow.
Layers of toasted oak and dark fruit on the finish, with sweet caramel balancing subtly bitter spice.
