The 12th addition to the Lg series of independently-bottled single malts from Elements of Islay, distilled by the legendary Lagavulin in 2007. Drawn from a pair of ex-bourbon barrels and bottled up at 55.4%, it boasts a bold balance of robust smoke, floral malt, and warming spice.
Classic notes of Frazzles, smoked nuts, and gooey toffee, with a whiff of floral honey.
Meaty malt and barbecue smoke welcome the way for hearty layers of warming cooking spice, and sweet baked pastry.
Peat smoke lingers, with woody liquorice, clove, and a touch of smoked, floral tea.
