The oldest expression from Diageo's 2021 Special Release, this is a 26 year old single malt from the mighty Lagavulin! Interestingly, this expression has been fully matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks, making for a flavour profile that boasts powerful peaty notes and intense sherried boldness. Sweet toffee, and Jamaica cake notes, layered with wood fires and coal dust. Quite prominent mouth-gripping tannins like a really old Cognac.
Thick with salted caramel and cigar ash.
