Made with 100% malted wholegrain rye at the distillery in Isokyrö, Finland, this stuff boasts all the wonderful aromatic spiciness from the rye whiskeys you'd find in America, well-balanced by rounded notes of brown sugar and toasted oak. Seriously impressive stuff.

Honeyed apricot and sultana, baked earth spiciness, a hint of chocolate and coffee hiding in there too.
Rye bread with Seville orange marmalade, blueberry, vanilla, black pepper and another touch of dark chocolate.
The spiciness of the rye sticks around, balanced by toffee and quince.
I’d never heard of this before but I thought I’d try it. It has a pleasant taste with a sweetness rather like Bourbon. Very drinkable and worth exploring.
