
A late-2016 addition to anCnoc's Peaty range - Stack peated to 20PPM and was drawn from American ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at 46% ABV. The name comes from the last step in the peat-gathering process, where a great pile of peat slabs would be assembled and left to dry before being burnt.
Vegetal oak, honey'd cereals and a helping of flamed orange peels.
Lemon cheesecake with a thick biscuit base, dark chocolate, earthy peat smoke growing as it develops.
Still quite fruity, though well balanced with the peat smoke.

Very earthy and low on the marveles Iodine flavour that I personnaly like. It feels a bit young but the peat marries good with the bourbon cask.
