Another winning combination of anCnoc single malt Scotch whisky from Knockdu distillery and artwork from illustrator Peter Arkle, this time originally released for travel retail. The design shows some luxurious leather luggage to match to luxurious liquid within.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Inviting citrus and green apple freshness, with honeyed floral notes as well as some vanilla and praline depth - perhaps even a hint of that luggage leather?
Palate
Green apple leads the way once more, but again that's only part of the story with cereal, pine nuts, meringue, lemon sorbet, spring garden and oak spice.
Finish
Fresh citrus and subtle toast.
Overall
A light and certainly tasty anCnoc for spring and summer.
