This Irish single malt whiskey from Kinahan's is produced in small batches with 100% malted barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks. Released to pay tribute to the brand's history, which dates back to 1779 – they certainly know their stuff when it comes to making good whiskey!
Candied orange, burnt toffee, toasted nuts, dark chocolate, and tobacco.
Coffee grounds, green apples, and pears with floral, nutty vanilla.
Some dark fruits and zest along with charred oak and bitter coffee chocolate.

Very surprising it’s pretty close to my favourite classic Redbreast but has a bit more chocolate and tobacco side to it. Excellent mouth feel, superb body, smooth and long enough finish. Getting very sweet chocolate and later also oranges notes. Great add to collection. Fantastic Irish whisky.
