This is the 2026 batch of Loch Gorm, the annual sherry cask-matured limited edition from Islay's Kilchoman distillery. Bottled at 10 years old, this whisky matured in a host of oloroso sherry butts and hogsheads from renowned bodega, Jose Miguel Martin, bringing heavy notes of rich fruit, dark chocolate, burnt sugar and spice to the citrus and peat smoke at its heart.
Rich layers of peat smoke, meaty malt, dried red fruits, and roasted walnuts.
Fruity, with notes of marmalade, grilled pineapple, and salted caramel, backed by sweet, warming spice and smoke.
Cinnamon and nutmeg linger with dark chocolate, burnt sugar, a touch of anise, and balanced peat.
