Kilchoman 100% Islay 11th Edition
Kilchoman continues to champion the excellence of Islay barley with its 11th release of 100% Islay! This single malt is made with barley grown on a single farm on Islay, and was matured in a combination of 26 bourbon barrels and seven Oloroso sherry butts. A fantastic example of the brilliant work (and tasty whisky, of course) this distillery is all about!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vegetal peat with a floral freshness underneath, followed by red plum and a touch of new leather.
Palate
Grilled peaches, hay, lemon peel, heather honey, cinnamon, and ginger.
Finish
Salted nuts, dates, brown sugar.
