A single malt made up of different ages, 13 percent of which is said to be heavily peated... It turns out Stevie was wrong, Superstition is the way!
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Initial gristy cereal gives way to evocative smoke and heady malt. It’s quite sweet and creamy, and reminds us of Chantilly cream.
Sweet and porridge-like. A cereal fest on the tongue, with hints of white pepper and black forest honey with hot buttered toast. Light and oily.
Medium length with cocoa and rice paper with hints of honey and spice on the tail.
Absolutely lovely whisky, stopped drinking whisky in my 30s, now 67 and my son let me taste some he had, now I’m hooked again so much so I bought 4 bottles from masters of malt. Try it you will love it.
Hoping it's good as giving it to my Dad for father's day. Got it reduced in Waitrose for £15.99! And for that I'm going to give it top marks
FANTASTIC TASTE AND LONG LASTING
Bought this bottle in Sainsbury's today for £20.00!
Bought a bottle of Superstition as it was on offer and wanted to broaden my Scotch horizons since I was previously a Glenfiddich drinker exclusively. At first the smoke and peat put me off a little but the more I sip the more I find they make it quite a smooth Scotch indeed. Would recommend to anyone new to whisky - goes down a treat.
