Jura 7 Year Old 2012 (Master of Malt)

We like to imagine our own Master of Malt bottling collection a bit like a sticker annual, and here, we've unwrapped our very first shiny to add to the team Jura page! This single malt was distilled in 2012 and matured in bourbon barrels for seven years, yielding a total of 374 bottles. No swapsies.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Cream, vanilla and sponge cake are joined by sawdust and subtle notes of polished oak, with buttered toast and rusk biscuits in tow.

    Palate

Things start off with vanilla cream and milk bottle sweeties opening the way for oily malt, juicy stone fruits, and waves of peppercorn warmth.

    Finish

There's delicate tinned peach sweetness, joined by rich oaken vanilla and shortbread that linger alongside a touch of nutmeg and pepper.
