This 10-year-old single malt was part of Jura's core range through the 2000s and 2010s, before it underwent a revamp in 2018. A nice find for a retro collection or a nostalgic tasting.

Sweet tasting liquid gold.
I'm normally an islay man. I've seen this on the shelf and always disregarded it. Picked up a half bottle tonight for a change. Meh, it's not amazing, it's not terrible. Very sweet and fruity. It's also kind of cloying in that my mouth is numb and I can't taste much other than the faint rubbery aftertaste of this whisky.
Not sure what they did to the whisky. It's so mellow, shallow and thin. Everything is so toned down and the only thing stands out is the brine.
Horrible. Hits the roof of your mouth where the soft palate starts with the most unpleasant, bitter taste that just lingers. Tried adding water and it’s no better. There are plenty of decent blends out there that outshine this stuff. Just about alright for a whisky mac.
Maybe i got a bad batch or maybe i just have a strong sense of smell. I actually love this "distillery character" of Jura. It is unique and adds complexity. I have noticed this too in Jura 16 but seemed muted. And from what i read in the other websites, people had commented about the rubber flavor in Jura 10 and other Juras (Prophecy, Superstition and 16) Really looking forward to buying the Superstition because from what i gathered, it has more of that "flavor". To the idiots, other people just perceive flavor, taste and aroma differently. Deal with it.
