Blended
Scotland
Jim Beveridge spent over 40 years in the whisky-making business before retiring from the position of master blender at Johnnie Walker in 2021. This limited edition Master's Cut was unveiled one year after Beveridge's retirement, celebrating his illustrious career and legacy with a blend that pays homage to Johnnie Walker's past and future. The blend combines just two whiskies, a lighter single grain from one of the oldest distilleries used for Johnnie Walker, Cameronbridge, and a characterful single malt from one of Scotland's youngest distilleries, Roseisle. Limited to 1,000 bottles, these could originally only be purchased from Johnnie Walker's Princes Street HQ in Edinburgh.
Fresh summer fruit with a vanilla sweetness. Sliced apples, soft pears, and ripe banana give way to aromas of rich caramel and sweet molasses. Notes of confectionary, milk chocolate and marzipan gently weave through the senses.
Sweet baked caramel and rich butterscotch pair with fresh aromas to create a burst of richness, building to a gentle syruping sweetness that fills the palate.
Crisp fruit, elderflower and cherry blossom in an envelope of seasoned oak, combining with a soft warming sweetness to finish.
