An exclusive bottling created in memory of the founder of Johnnie Walker, John Walker himself. The whisky, which follows the heritage of the Blue Label and the King George V, is crafted from specially selected casks to create a whisky as close to the 19th century style as possible. The decanter is presented in a lacquered cabinet that took sixty hours to make.
The aroma is surprisingly fresh, considering the age of some of the whisky used to make it, with bright citrus notes. The palate displays rich fruit and sweet vanilla notes with a honeyed character emerging. The finish is simply astoundingly long with fruit and spice waltzing to the very end.
Tried this from the sample pack and don't know whether or not it might have been tainted but nothing special at all, pretty thin palate and pretty short finish. Would pick many a longmorns over this for quite a bit less. Not an unpleasant taste but certainly nothing special
I bought one of these about 6 years ago. It’s in pristine condition. I’m curious what it may be worth now.
I was blessed to taste this wonderful creation. The finish was so delightful! My palate will never be the same. The decanter is to die for! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I loved every sip of it!
There are chefs and there's Michelin chefs, what's the difference bs 2019, I bet ur happy with baked potatoe, others have different standards, a chef takes ingredients and make it taste wonderful, so what happens when you have a master blender with some of the best whisky dedicated to an ultimate icon. Underrated , I know so , some ppl think a single malt is the best, just like a football team with one great player
very nice, and oily, with old books and old oak.
