Blended
Scotland
Johnnie Walker Red Label Whisky was created 1909 and is a classic blended whisky, a great mixer and back bar favourite.
A surprisingly rich, aromatic nose with heather honey, mixed peels, soft smoke and rum spice.
Cedar wood, oak and butterscotch, aniseed, Christmas cake and malt.
Long, spiced nose with smoke on the tail.

Look, it's quite simple really. If you are drinking JW Red Label, you know from the moment you crack open the bottle that this isn't the same quality of Scotch as a 18 year old single malt. For the money however, it's pretty damn decent. I drink this when money is tight and I can't afford Laphrohaig.
I have tasted many different whiskeys. I like all types bourbons are my favorite normally but love a good scotch. I dont have a ton of money so when i saw Johnnie red on sale i went for it. One of the worst i have ever tasted. I have only dumped out 2 bottles of liquor in my life. 1 was a cheap $10 highland crest scotch and the other Johnnie walker red. Im not picky, it had a chemical after taste that i just couldn't stomach, and I was mixing it with coke!
Inferior to the black label. Thin, watery with an unpleasant smoky aftertaste
