A delicious blend made with a good amount of pure potstill Irish whiskey. Jameson Gold Reserve is sublime stuff, and it was awarded a massive 94 points in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.

“Better than I expected. I have a hard time picking out any specific flavors. Honey and butter I guess. Very viscous Similar to Redbreast 15, Auchentoshan 21, and Bushmills 21 (minus the tobacco). I think it's a tad less sweet than the aforementioned, but only a tad. To me, that's a good thing, and I'd actually prefer a little drier myself; I find thick sweet whiskies a little too cough-mediciney, but that's just a personal thing. There's no questioning the quality of this one though, it's terrific.”

First tasted this in Waterford early this year been trying to buy a bottle since finally found one at highworth last month one off the smoothest blends I have tried as good as Black bottle
Once you've tried Gold, there's no going back....... My favourite whiskey.
A worthy replacement for the 15 year old,all though not in name.best value for money Irish on the market.
