Produced at the Midleton Distillery, Jameson is Ireland's quintessential Irish blend – a classic whiskey. Jim Murray even awarded it an incredible 95 points!
A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.
Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.
Medium-length with spice and honey.

Good taste, smooth.
This is one of my favourite whiskey's. I can't understand why some other reviewers do not like it. If I am out with friends we always end the evening with a Jameson's. I usually have it as a chaser with a pint of Guinness, lovely. One of life's simple pleasures. As another reviewer said, I would bring it to a desert island as a treat if I had to choose something.
Best fucking drink ever created City Boys up!!!
Having been a founder member and past chairman of The Connemara single malt society , the other member the chairman and myself spent many a pleasant evening with a glass or two of Jameson. I was the executive chef of a boutique hotel and the chairman was the hotel owner , we had many a guest join us , once even the British ambassador (some african nation we could never remember and after a night drinking with us i dont believe the ambassador could remember either) . Great days well nights actually ,waterford crystal and a bottle of Jameson
The tasting notes are spot on and this whisky is deserving of a premiur shelf in any cabinet, and I usually really dislike the taste of Irish Whiskey.
