Produced at the Midleton Distillery, Jameson is Ireland's quintessential Irish blend – a classic whiskey. Jim Murray even awarded it an incredible 95 points!
A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.
Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.
Medium-length with spice and honey.
Simply delicious. Sweet and mellow at bargain basement prices
Really drinkable actually, plenty of fresh orchard notes, easy on the spice, no harshness worth naming. I’ve put of buying any as it’s not Scotch but I will certainly buy again.
It’s a perfectly drinkable whiskey - better than some of the cheap blended scotch whisky such as Whyte & Mackay, but it’s quite a lot more expensive, and not worth the extra.
Don't know if it's a batch problem or if the overall quality of maturation went down, but I get plenty of vanilla flavored Polish vodka notes here
A consistently delicious whisky. If I had to take just one whisky on to the desert island or grab at the beginning of the end of the world...I think it would be this one.
