Produced at the Midleton Distillery, Jameson is Ireland's quintessential Irish blend – a classic whiskey.
A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.
Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.
Medium-length with spice and honey.

If you wanna taste Irish, this is the best. Just add few drops of water and enjoy it. Good price as well.
First time I tried it, it went down smooth. You can smell the vanilla and other notes, it's definitely good for beginners and i bet even avid whiskey lovers will enjoy a glass once and a while
Nose - nail varnish Palate - nail varnish (not that I'd know) Rancid stuff. I'm not sure why it's so popular. Probably because it's Irish and because of good marketing.
Smooth and slightly sweet with a nice rich warm mouth feel and lingering afterglow, great neat, or with a quality ginger ale, or even a splash of soda water to bring the afterglow down a little.
I always go by the saying "there are no bad whiskies, just some that better than others!" Well like all rules there are exceptions and I would say that this is that. It's bad, really bad. All you can say that's good about this product is that it's cheap. Probably passable with a few lumps of ice and some diet coke, but on it's own it's close to undrinkable. Even with a few mililitres of water it has a horrible after taste and gives nothing away on the nose. This is a boozer's whisky with little to offer the serious whisky drinker.
