Jameson Black Barrel is a special blend of Jameson Irish Whiskey, made with aged double-distilled spirits and matured in deep charred oak barrels. The result is a smoother, richer whiskey with a complex taste. Jameson Black Barrel is perfect for sipping neat or on the rocks.
Jameson Black Barrel (AKA Small Batch) is a super release from Jameson, with a high proportion of Irish pot still whiskey as well as small-batch grain. The result is an increased body and level of richness when compared to the core expression. It's aged in double charred first-fill bourbon casks (black barrels). Well worth a look...
*UK (excluding Channel Islands) and retail only. Offer from 28 02 2025, while stock lasts.
Rich and fruity with notes of tropical fruits, coconut, nectarines in yoghurt, guava and a thick core of sweet cereals.
Thick and full on the palate, with an intense, unctuous creaminess, alongside dates, walnuts and peels. Good peach and coconut notes, and a little cinnamon.
Long finish, and very fruity with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg and hints of potpourri.
Middle of the road safe whiskey that's easy to drink. I feel it's quite overpriced at Є48, at that price point there's several cheaper whiskies I would prefer. However, as a whiskey on its own merit, it's very good and probably a great addition to someone that's just beginning their collection and figuring out what exactly they're looking for in a whiskey.
Splendid Irish (you can say Scotch right?) - bottled at 40% - perfect. A blind taste might lead to thinking it's a good bourbon but that's no bad thing. Smooth, rich, great value.
As I’ve told many friends who I’ve serves this to (and every single one has loved it): this is the Heinz of whiskeys. Smooth AF, and beautifully composed. If you’re looking for big, unique flavours, look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for something that’s simply good, kind and easy, buy this instantly.
Bourbon re-branded , wouldn't bother buy the caskmates instead, better.
I might become an Alcoholic for this whiskey, because it’s cheap and with an EXCELLENT before and after taste. Paid 20 euros for it bought 7 bottles.
