A no-age-statement single malt from Crabbie's! John Crabbie’s original premises were at Yardheads in Leith, hence the name of the whisky. As the brand new distillery gets up and running, Crabbie's has released this single malt from an undisclosed distillery for us to enjoy! A brilliant spirit to try out some whisky cocktails with - may we suggest a Highball?
Custard Cream biscuits, lemon peel, a touch of savoury wood.
Mint leaf, toffee apple, white grape, slightly toasty.
Rye heat and soft cinnamon.

I really recommend to try it only with proper atmosphere...
More like a blend, nothing like a smooth single malt.
Its drinkable but, its not one of those you want to enjoy with lots of flavours coming in your mouth, its just sweet and bit watery, by a colour it seems really light, which i wouldn’t expect from a good single malt, its more like a cheap blended whisky’s not a single malt, and even smell doesn’t seem rich, but for this price i would say its decent
It has a hint of toffee but otherwise would make a great cough syrup, rough and jarring even for a cheap drop.
The first so-called ‘single malt’ that I didn’t like. I’d drink it if there was nothing else, but it’s not a patch on Bunnahabain or Talisker. A Scotsmen once told me ‘There’s nae bad whiskies, but some better than others’. This is one of the others.
