A no-age-statement single malt from Crabbie's! John Crabbie’s original premises were at Yardheads in Leith, hence the name of the whisky. As the brand new distillery gets up and running, Crabbie's has released this single malt from an undisclosed distillery for us to enjoy! A brilliant spirit to try out some whisky cocktails with - may we suggest a Highball?
Custard Cream biscuits, lemon peel, a touch of savoury wood.
Mint leaf, toffee apple, white grape, slightly toasty.
Rye heat and soft cinnamon.

A perfectly smooth and easy drinkable whisky. Do not add anything to it though (water, ice etc.....) enjoy it on its own and let the flavours dance a jig around your taste buds. Slange
Perhaps I'm doing Grappa a disservice. Let me rephrase that. It smells like one of those drinks you buy in the airport when you're using up your loose change at the end of a package holiday. I honestly wonder whether anyone involved in this product has ever tasted whisky before. It's like some suit has pointed at an infographic and said hey guys, I know, here's scotch whisky 2.0, it's going to take over teh worldd!!!1! SPOILER: it did not take over the world.
Been drinking single malt whisky for over 50 years and been through many different ones, tried this for first time and at £16 a bottle wasn't expecting much then came across this site, I don't really see why all the bad reviews found it pleasant enough and have had worse at three times the price, my advice is give it a go and don't slag it off for no age shown its fine for the price don't be a snob because you like to see a flash label stating a age
Not nice. Harsh raw-spirit taste --- but my bottle has a cute ring on the neck so will be kept to refill with something better.
Tastes more like a cheap blended whisky . I only bought it as it said single malt . I find it hard to believe. Not for me at all , must get some lemonade or I won't drink it
