An astounding (and mysterious) single cask single malt from John Crabbie & Sons. This was distilled in 1992 – we know it hails from Speyside's Glenlivet Valley, though no specifics – and bottled up at 28 years of age at 45.5% ABV.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
It’s like sticking your head in a patisserie: peaches and pears, almonds, vanilla and baking spices.
Orchard fruit and layers of vanilla, spice and hazelnut. Just a little peppery spice, but mainly smooth as the finest custard.
Lingering vanilla and toffee. Very long.
