
A classic blend from Ireland, established by the renowned John Jameson. Really smooth and well put together, a very enjoyable Irish whiskey.
A full and floral nose leads with the smooth sweetness of marmalade and fudge before a hint of Madeira and a little cut grass note emerge.
Thick and of good body with notes of orchard fruits, both fresh and cooked with a little vanilla cream.
Medium-length with spice and honey.

This is a cooking whisky. It goes well in a cake, drowned in coke or in a strong coffee. Real drinkers of whisky will avoid until deep into the night when the taste buds have already drowned and the head is close to joining them when dipped into the toilet. In fairness, it is not bad. No real flavour but not offensive. Not bad for beginners, cooking and deep into the night.

This is perfect on its own, with ice or with ginger ale, started drinking it when I stayed in Dublin more than ten years ago and I have never drank anything else
