You all know Jack Daniel’s and have no doubt seen its classic whiskey in bars and shops all over the world. But the Tennessee-based distillery is also home to lots of premium expressions, like the single barrel bottling you see before you. A premium version of Jack Daniel's, each of these comes from a cask specially selected by the master distiller. These are chosen for their suitability as standalone spirits, resulting in a whiskey full of richness and complexity.

Good body with plenty of toasty oak, there are notes of corn and lovely cereal sweetness, there is a good smoke note, a little spice and toffee.
Full and mouth-filling. There are notes of cereal sweetness, the rye is in evidence with a touch of cigar box and nut oils, a little spice and an aniseed character.
Good length with a hint of citrus and plenty of cereal sweetness.

Its nice & smokey, got some powerful notes but its just not worth the money in my opinion. Gentleman Jack is a much better value, it doesn't have as much flavor but its much smoother and at 2/3 of the cost, Gentleman Jack is my preferred choice.
THE BEST IN THE STABLE.TRY IT STRAIGHT.SMOOTH STUFF. AV RAMPERSAD/TRINIDAD/WEST INDIES.
Harshness and other mistakes of jack daniels corrected, but decent whisky only.
Nice oaky barrel flavor, great on its own. Not a drink to over indulge in just appreciate a good glass at the end of the day.
Each one has their own concept of flavor, but to my palate this is not a "very powerful..." whiskey. The smoothness is easy to dwell on and find myself enjoying glass after glass. Okay, maybe too many glasses, but picking this up on occasion maybe only once every couple of weeks, I realize how much I forget how flavorful this stuff is. As the other reviewer indicated, sips like a good cognac. And, as with several of my cigar buddies, this is one of the favorite stashes we get into for an hour and half sit down.
