Frank Sinatra was a long time fan of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and was often seen sipping a glass of it on stage while singing 'Fly Me To The Moon' or 'My Way'. He even kept a stash of the classic whiskey on his private plane to enjoy while on the way to his next show, which would certainly beat a plastic cup of warm wine any day.
Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select has been created in honour of this friendship with Old Blue Eyes. The bold, smooth qualities of the Sinatra Select come from the specially made Sinatra barrels in which part of the whiskey was aged. Deep grooves were cut into the staves of the casks, increasing the amount of exposure the whiskey had to the wood. It is then married with Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 and bottled at 45% abv, which is how Sinatra would have enjoyed it back in the day.
So put on a Sinatra LP, sip some Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select and raise a glass to the man with one of the best voices the world has ever known.
Soft honey, fresh apples and a bold oak note at the centre.
Yummy butterscotch notes which turn into yummier caramel notes, rich and warm. Hints of orange zest and a subtle smokiness.
Packed with vanilla and smooth as Sinatra's voice.
Frank could easily have been looking into the future at the Sinatra Select when he sung 'The Best Is Yet To Come', but it's here now for you to enjoy!
To be honest, it is a 5 star bourbon had I not tried the Bower Hill Single Barrel first! Only lost 1/2 star on the fact it is £45 + more expensive that that gem. But in truth….wow, just wow!!!
I'm not normally a *big* fan of Jack Daniels, but this special edition felt fitting enough to make an exception — and boy, was I glad I did. This is a definite step up from the standard JD. The presentation of the bottle is great, and the taste is even better. I've bought this blend now maybe 6/7 times, and I'm always back for more. It's terrific.
OMG, I am not a liquor drinker, but the first time I tasted the Sinatra blend, I fell in love. Straight up or on the rocks, it is soooooooo smooth like butter. I have never tasted a whiskey that didn’t burn or cause me to shudder. I like to have a bottle set back to share with my husband, and close (I mean really close) special friends.
It is absolutely the best Whiskey bourbon I have ever had ...I try 25-50 different brands every year , and this is by far the best there is !!!!
Frank Sinatra used to drink regular Jack Daniels. None of this new marketed crap
