A gorgeous Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, Silver Select is bottled at higher strength and the result is plenty of rich sweetness and complexity. Each barrel is aged in a different location within the warehouse for a better maturation.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Wonderful chocolate and Madagascan vanilla notes with toffee
i got 2 bottles in duty free on the way back to Scotland traveling from America.......its fare to say i am glad i got two bottles once i had a taste. It is the best American whiskey i have ever had. I love Whiskey so i will be buying more of this one.
I am not a whiskey drinker but the first time I tasted it in Germany you I feel in love with the taste and could not believe the smoothest of this. Love it will continue to but and serve in my home.
Its really nice
I've tried a few but Im not really a big bourbon fan, they never seem to have the variation and subtelty that proper whisky has, they somehow seem to be ok for cocktails and for kids or those that dont know better to put coke in, but for a change i though id pay a tad more and see if things changed the higher up the bracket you got, and have to say i was pleasantly surprised at this one. It's a lovely smooth mouthfeel with a spicy taste with a fair bit going on to savour, just as the MoM bottling note suggests. I wont be in a rush to finish it as it will make a good alternative on those nights when i fancy something different, and would certainly consider buying another quality bourbon - the old adage of you get what you pay for sure applies here buddy !!!
