“Was lucky enough to try this pre-release at a Whisky Festival; absolutely delicious. Reminded me of a brown sugar bourbon I tried in Colorado. Bonfire toffee, subtle smoke, popcorn with burnt butter. Some spicy notes as well (from the rye?) and a lovely sweet finish. Looking forward to trying this in an Old Fashioned.”

Jack Daniel’s Bonded

A bold, boisterous expression from Jack Daniel's Bonded Series, which also includes Triple Mash, this is what's known as a Bottled-in-Bond whiskey. That means it can only be distilled by a single distiller during one distillation season. You can also only age it in a government-bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottle it at 50% ABV.

Nose

Orange peel, luscious vanilla, toasted oak, and plenty of rich caramel.

Palate

Muscovado sugar, cooked apple, vanilla fudge, and ginger.

Finish

Woodsmoke, marmalade, and cinnamon swirls.
