This commemorative bottling celebrates Barrel House No. 1, one of the oldest warehouses at the Jack Daniel’s distillery and a symbol of its post-Prohibition revival. Built on a hill overlooking the distillery grounds, the seven-storey warehouse proved ideal for maturation, with natural airflow and temperature variation shaping the whiskey’s character. Released in 1994, this bottle also marked a legal milestone: the first Jack Daniel’s whiskey sold at the distillery itself, and in Lynchburg, since 1909.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
