Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack is a smooth and sophisticated whiskey, perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks. It has a distinctively rich flavour with notes of vanilla and spice.
Gentleman Jack is a premium version of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. The main difference is that it enjoys a 'double mellowing' as it's filtered through charcoal before being filled into the barrel (the Lincoln County Process) and once again before it's bottled.
Gentleman Jack is undoubtedly good enough to enjoy on its own. In his book Whisky: The Manual, Dave Broom also suggests that Gentleman Jack actually works better than the regular Jack Daniel's Old No.7 in a Jack and Coke.
In addition to its smooth flavour profile, Gentleman Jack is also known for its distinctive and elegant packaging. The brand's signature bottle is designed to look like a flask and is decorated with elegant, hand-written labelling that pays homage to the brand's heritage and tradition.
Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed.
Liquorice-led palate with oak and cinnamon, a touch of banana too.
Roasty and toasty finish, plenty of spice and citrus too.

I love it I think it's a great fairly priced whiskey one of my favorites also regardless of price
Either I got three bottles in a row or it tastes bad. It is better to mix it with any pop like Pepsi. I'll stick with jd old number 7 or number 8 George Dickel
I'm relatively new to Whiskey but I've tried quite a few in the last year. -I've been to a couple of tasting parties in the last few months and I have to admit that Gentleman Jack is one of my favorites. I also really like Four Roses Single Barrel, OYO Bourbon Whiskey, and Knob Creek Single Barrel. GJ is smooth, easy to drink and I really like the flavor. I also appreciate that doesn't pack the 100+ proof of my other favorites. I like a long pour in the evening as an alternative to having a craft IPA beer or two. Very relaxing, taste great and less filling!
Just an improvement on no.7, smoother and no vodka type taste on the end. Find it really complex and alive after sipping a dram of dahlwhinnies lovely chilled out roughness beforehand. Got me back into whisky over lager and wine atm as well so would say sound for a casual drink but nothing spectacular, as I say though, excellent casual or "every day" spirit.
Really having a hard time with the poor reviews. On one hand I'm ok with it if the demand is low the price will be too. However if it's too low and people really take these reviews as the gods honest truth we wouldn't see it on the shelves much longer. I love this whiskey. Its so smooth. I find it best consumed on a hot day. Glass filled with ice and Gentleman poured to the top. Swirl for a second and enjoy.
