Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey has been made at its Lynchburg distillery since 1875. The branding and original label, sometimes referred to as No. 7 or Black Label; has made its way into pop culture, with merchandise sold the world over and a history of association with music. Frank Sinatra was even buried with a bottle. The Tennessee whiskey makers use a mash bill made up of 80% corn, 12% rye, and 8% malt to create Jack Daniels whiskey, which is then filtered through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal to produce a mellow, slightly smoky character. A method known as the Lincoln County Process, it means this is not a bourbon, but instead meets the legal definition of a Tennessee whiskey. Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel ( c. January 1849 – October 9, 1911) was an American distiller and businessman, best known as the founder of the Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey distillery.
Light with plenty of sweetness. There are hints of dry spice and oily nuts, a touch of smoke.
Quite smooth and soft with notes of banana milkshake, a mixed nut note, a touch of caramel with crème anglaise.
Sweet with a little cereal sweetness and toasty oak.

Go to the store, buy the cheapest lipstick you can find, take a bite and sip some cheap whiskey...presto, Jack Daniels. VILE.
Won a litre at golf ,thought I was made. Stuff is revolting ,I do homebrew beer and once every year or two I do a suspect bottle!!!! This has to be worst thing "ever".Sometimes I buy/acquire a cheap bottle of whisky ,never ever had anything as bad as this stuff. Can it be possibly be a bad batch???
Awful. Smells nasty. Tastes of burned caramel - which is probably just the colouring. Burns like acid. Nothing redeems this grog. Its nasty overpriced rubbish. Buy some Buffalo Trace or some Bulleit for the same or less. There's a reason this stuff can't be called Bourbon. And its not just the one they put in the PR brochure.
Very nice in taste and price worthy of 1 Ltr of Bottle
For the price, it's still a very decent whisky. Smells like vanilla, bananas interwoven with oak (not much of it). Same on the taste, but washes down pretty quick since its only 40 ABV. I recently bought a 375ml of it for the first time since last time I drank some (when I was 20, and over did it quite a bit) and after tasting fine bourbons and scotches, this is very decent whisky. Nothing complicated.
