A brill blended Scotch whisky for sharing with friends over some good stories! According to the label, Jack and Victor Blended Scotch Whisky was selected by master tasters Jack Jarvis Esq. and Victor McDade – though the eagle-eyed among us might recognise those names from a certain Scottish TV show...
Rounded barley notes, dotted with whiffs of peat smoke and honey.
Cakey vanilla and cooked apricot, the subtle smoke still sticking around.
Walnut, freshly sawn oak, orange zest.
Had it as a Father’s Day present because they know how much I loved Still Game, thought it was gimmicky but to be fair this is a very good whisky I have no complaints, smooth with a little spice and overall a very nice sipping whisky.
Bought it for...the banter...but hey don't knock it till you try it...was skeptical but I take it all back, love it. Much sweetness, smooth, very moreish. Changed my opinion on a blend.
Just finished my first bottle and enjoyed every drop. Smooth and very tasty I agree it is much better than I expected. Still game for another.
This whiskey is a million miles better than it has any rite to be!
Can only be appreciated fully whilst watching an episode of ‘Still Game.’ Hits you straight in the wallaper!
