Inverleven single malt Scotch whisky here, distilled at the Lochside distillery before its closure in 1991. It was aged for a considerable 32 years in a single refill bourbon barrel (cask #832) before it was bottled up at 47% ABV for the Connoisseurs Choice range by Gordon & MacPhail. We're told to expect notes of dark honey, Seville orange peel, dried bananas, toasted almonds, pressed apples and lavender.
