Old favourite Invergordon is back with some spectacularly old grain whisky. This 25-year-old single grain is the 22nd batch that joins That Boutique-y Whisky Ccompany's range and was distilled all the way back in 1991. A big, bold, and moreish Highlander this one!
Batch 22 is a release of 340 bottles.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted brown bread, sweet Demerara fudge, digestive biscuits, woody spices, and hints of milk chocolate and candied citrus peel.
Palate
Sweet creamy coffee, salted caramel, vanilla custard, and woody spices.
Finish
The sweetened coffee notes fade to leave lingering toasted spice.
