An indie Invergordon single grain here from Wemyss Malts, aged in a single butt cask from 1988 to 2016. Following its maturation, this was bottled at 46% ABV and given the name Frosted Molasses Tart. A release of 681 bottles.
Brown sugar and freshly sliced Granny Smith apples. A light hint of buttered toast.
Chocolatey at first, but notes of fresh fruit soon win out. Some flaky pastry.
Drying cinnamon and clove warmth, with sweet vanilla are the core.
