That's when, in their infinite wisdom, Douglas Laing bottled this single cask, non-chill filtered single malt Scotch for the stunning Old Particular range, with an outturn of 363 bottles.
Toasted bread with a layer of honey, with blackberry and juicy honeydew melon rising through dry earth.
Orange oil and ground Christmas spices, plenty of vanilla and sprinkles of cumin and crunchy brown sugar.
Thick barley sweetness, marmalade on rye bread and vegetal oak.
