A delicious 15 year old Hanyu from the Ichiro’s malt range. This was distilled in 1995 and was finished in French oak. The results are stunning!

Nose: bourbon vanilla nuts chocolate red berries grapes hint of oak spices crisp earthy hint of sourness spices from the French Oak touch of tobacco marmalade Palate: spices coffee swirl chocolate oak peaches earth dry leaves dry fruits nuts Finish: medium coffee oaky spices overall the oak is a bit harsh, though but a fairly decent whisky.

A 15 year old Hanyu from the Ichiro's Malt line (while I think there is only one bottle with this style of label released in Europe, there are a few in Japan) This one was finished in a French oak cask and bottled at 46% vol. with 300 bottles.
