This expression is released as part of the As We Get It range – and it is bottled up just as they got it from the distillery, without added colour or chill-filtration, and at a robust cask strength of 60.8% ABV. A grand bottle for all the Islay aficionados out there.
A balance of sweet sponge cake, herbal malt, and earthen peat smoke.
Fresh apple, some zesty citrus, burnt embers, oak char spice.
More baking spice and coastal tar, lingering vegetal peat with warming prickles of black pepper.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this.For me it is sublime and subtle despite its strength,I enjoyed this as much as Port Askaigs cask strength,just an exquisite drink and definitely worth the price !
