From Ian Macleod's As We Get It range comes a single malt from an undisclosed distillery in the Highlands. As you could likely guess from the name, they bottle the whisky as it arrive from the distillery - with not additional colours, chill-filtration or amendments to the ABV. This one has been bottled at 64%.
Earthy vanilla and forest floor richness, with sweetness developing from caramel notes.
Fruitier than the nose suggests, with green apple, pear and a hint of Sherry.
Peppercorn, hazelnut and butterscotch.

my favorite tipple is generally from the speyside region BUT I do not see "as we get it" bottlings from speyside
this is whisky as it should be...it is actually surprisingly smooth and goes down nicely...of course...if you absolutely must then a dash of water softens it up a bit and opens up a world of flavour...this is my third now.
I think it is fantastic you only need a small amount of the whisky and the put the amount of water in the glass and the taste is magic J.W
Just lovely. Smooth, peaty, smokey, a nice little kick and just blooming fantastic. Takes me back to the lock-ins at the Glenuig.
