A rare, collectable bottle of Hiram Walker Imperial Blended Whiskey from the 1960s. A beautifully crafted bottle, with a whiskey inside to match.
Not as bad as Corby's or Carstairs, but pretty close .it's the kind of stuff you use to take the rust off of your bumper.
Back in the 70s while on a bender I got loaded on a bottle of this. I had won big at the track and was drinking "Imp & Iron", a shot of Imperial followed by an Iron City beer (the local brew) in Pittsburgh. Three days later I came to at a George Washington Motor Lodge outside of Baltimore. My 2nd wife was in bed with me. I asked what the hell she was doing there and she said, "Don't you remember? We got married again yesterday!" Just when I thought a hangover couldn't possibly get worse. So be aware.....a few blasts of Imperial and they'll be fishing you out of the sewer.
There was a bottle of Imperial under the kitchen sink. My parents drink of chose. And of course, I drank my share. Growing up in the 60's. And it was all about getting HI!!!! Great mixer with water or soda, 7up. Better get 2 bottles and a half case of cheap beer, brown derby, let's party.
