A 10 year old whiskey from Hinch, which takes its name from the nearby town of Ballynahinch, with the distillery based just south of Belfast in the grounds of the Killaney Estate. The blend was initially matured in American oak before being treated to a six month finish in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez. It's then bottled at 43% ABV, released as part of the Time Collection.
Ripe orchard fruits, sweet notes of barley sugar and vanilla balanced by rich, slightly tart red fruit.
Sugared malty cereal, nougat and chocolate covered marzipan, dry notes of fruity sherry, sultana and a burst of fresh fruit sweetness, with ripe pear and a hint of lychee.
Lingering red berries and a hint of earthy vanilla pod.

A very drinkable whisky, very easy to knock back many a dram.
Really smooth, well balanced. Will be buying again
I had a chance to taste it in Dublin recently. Great Irish Whiskey! Reminds me to Tyrconnell 16 sherry expression! So many new Irish Whiskey ventures on the way.
I bought this whiskey from a local source and l have tried it with ice,a dash of water and on it’s own. The chaps at Master of Malt are correct in their analysis of this whiskey and l prefer it on it’s own and l think worth the money some other whisky drinkers may miss the brashness of some other whiskies so it is not for them.
