Enjoyably approachable single malt from the Orkney-based Highland Park distillery, titled Viking Tribe. A whisky all about bringing people together, reflected on the label inspired by Viking artwork found at Norway's Urnes Stave Church. The symbol symbolises the phrase 'together as one'.
Butterscotch, floral barley, crumpets with salted butter, a hint of sandalwood.
Orange peel and honey. Peppery peat slowly develops alongside hints of apricot and clove.
Soft smoke lingers on the finish.

Bought this in a Black Friday sale. It is delicious. I like the 12 year old HP, but this is a really nice alternative. Mainly got vanilla and classic HP smokiness.
Great tasting whisky. Slightly cheaper elsewhere.
