Highland Park
Scotland
Single Malt
Highland Park's Thorfinn sits at the higher end of their esteemed travel retail Warriors Series. Thorfinn was sometimes known as Thorfinn The Mighty, so it comes as no surprise that he was one of the most powerful Earls of Orkney and an impressive warrior. The whisky itself interprets his character and his big, bold and complex. However, it remains well balanced with good wafts of peat and subtle herbaceous elegance coming through.

Earthy smoke, with a hint of forest floor developing. Sherried orange peels and freshly brewed coffee.
Dark chocolate, old oak and camphor. Bruised mint leaf, gingerbread and smoked meats.
Honey-drenched dates and spicy oak. Lingering smoke.

Да ловим слепи шарани!? Само кутията на тази искат...£300 !? За 300£, купувам Dewar's signatur, При който нито кутията, нито уискито отстъпва на Thorinn???
Thorfinn may be thorfine and all but without a thorough or even partial lists of casks used to make this thing the price tag is such a joke. Then again, similarly priced NAS Macallans give the impression that Edrington is a big fan of jokes.
