28 year old Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled for the Mackillop's Choice range. This handsome fellow was distilled on the island of Orkney in June 1986 and aged in cask #2264 for 28 long years, until it was bottled in January 2015 with an outturn of only 168 bottles.
Rich oak and coal dust, with fresh vanilla and hints of red grape giving it sweetness.
Cut herbs, old leather and green olive, balanced once again by waves of vanilla pod.
Crème caramel, sea spray, pear and vine peach.
