A glorious dual-vintage Highland Park that takes the long way round to greatness. Chapter Sixteen marries a 1st fill sherry hogshead from 2005 with a refill hoggie from 1997, yielding a natural strength 20-year-old that sails in with classic Orkney character and a gentle sherry kiss. It's elegant, storm-weathered, and full of island soul.
Heather smoke and sea breeze, followed by dried apricots, dark honey, and a subtle touch of leather and spice.
A firm malt core wrapped in layers of nutty sherry, salted liquorice, raisins, and toasted oak. The smoke is integrated and restrained – more campfire ember than bonfire.
Long and slightly coastal, with tobacco, orange oil, and soft peppery warmth that fades to wax and earth.
