The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.
These bottles were part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Out of all the Highland Park, this is by far my favourite. It's smooth, floral and has a marvelous after taste. One of the best midrange priced single malt whiskeys out there.
A beautiful smooth succulent foretaste, followed by the most astonishing deep aftertaste. its like angels dancing on your taste buds.
15th June review "The Problem" Just to let you know that the SMWS (Scotch Malt Whisky Society) allows you to sample lots of different whisk ides without buying the bottle, though you can if you wish. Hope this helps. 12 year old Highland Park is lovely, though flavour has changed in latest out turn. Checked from my own collection. Personally I prefer the older one, but new one still good.
Hence, Ralfy rates Higland Park 12 at a 84 and rates Glenfiddich 12 @ 87. So in lay mans terms, he suggests Glenfiddich 12 is better than Higland Park 12, lol. This dram and Glenmorangie are perfect introductions to Highland Single Malts and they're some of the best Highland Malts dependent on your budget. You can't go wrong with, either. Here's the deal with these online reviewers: They've been tasting Scotch for years and always compare a bottle of the new stuff to the old stuff they had. Instead of comparing a bottle to other drams in the same regions. Say the reviewer likes a Highland Park 12 made a few years ago better than the newer release. Well, he might like the older release better than the newer release so he's biased. And guess what, his review is now subjective because it doesn't outlay the current malts currently being released. I see this over and over again on You Tube and ect.
To anyone who classifies this as the best value for money whisky: Try the Benromach 10y ;)
